Hunt Story

I got out of school about 4:25, and me and my dad went to our hunting property in Banks County. We got to the stands about 4:52, and not even 15 minutes into the hunt a doe came from our left about 15 yards away from my stand. It went around two trees and after that I didn't see it again till about 20 minutes later it came back around those same trees with its tail in the air, and I knew something was up because it keep looking behind it like something was following it. About one hour later I looked to my left, and there he was, but at the time I did not know that he was that big. He was with four other bucks and two does, and he stood out like a sore thumb when I saw his rack and the difference from the other bucks. I had a gap about the size of a plate, and I told myself as soon as he gets in that spot I will take my shot. As soon as he took those few steps he was in the perfect spot. I took a deep breath and slowly squeezed the trigger, and as soon as the bullet hit him he dropped in his tracks.
