Scouted Friday evening before the WMA Adult/Child hunt opened. Found multiple fresh scrapes and rubs on a creek bottom. Hung my stand over it and was planning on sitting daylight to dark the next day. It was very overcast Saturday morning. At 10:15 AM, I saw a buck trotting with its nose on the ground toward me right up a logging road. He got 35 yards and hung a right. I didn’t have a clear shot until he stepped into an opening at 50 yards, and I stopped him. He mule kicked and crashed 50 yards from where I shot him.
