Hunt Story
Got on stand at 4:00 p.m. About an hour later, a 4-pointer entered the field and fed for about 30 minutes. It left the field, and a doe came into the field. As I watched the doe feed, I noticed she kept looking toward the woods. She then went into the woods, and within a few minutes she re-appeared along with a small 10-pointer. As these two deer fed, two more does entered the field along with a 6-pointer. As I watched these deer, I suddenly saw movement to my left and saw what I was hoping to see, a shooter buck. I let him feed on into the field, and when the deer presented a clean shot, I took it. It ran out of the field, and after getting down out of my stand, my cousin and I went back about an hour and a half later and found him inside the woods.
