Lake Sinclair Fishing Report December 2015

GON Staff | November 25, 2015

Sinclair: Level: 3.4 feet below full pool. Temp.: Low 60s. Clarity: Stained.

Bass: Tournament angler Aaron Batson reports, “Look for baitfish moving back out of the creeks. Fish from the mouths to halfway back. Good baits are jerkbaits and Rat-L-Traps. Try a 3/4-oz. Rat-L-Trap in chartreuse/chrome or gold/black. Fan cast across the center of the pockets. Try a steady retrieve, and also yo-yo the bait along the bottom. A great jerkbait is a Lucky Craft Pointer 78 or Spro McStick in shad colors. Long pauses between jerks will be best on colder days.”
