Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report December 2015

GON Staff | November 24, 2015

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 0.5 feet below full pool. Temp: Low 60s. Clarity: Some stain.

Bass: “The bass fishing is excellent,” said tournament promoter and competitor Dennis Hudson. “The bass are fattening up for the winter and feeding well right now. The bass are in the mouths of the pockets and up in some pockets a little bit, but there aren’t any fish all the way up in the pockets right now. Shad-colored square-bill crankbaits are about all you need right now. There are a few bass starting to get under the boat docks in 3 to 8 feet of water, and Senkos and jigs will soon be taking them.”
