It was the last day of the season, and I was planning on stalking up a road with the wind in my face. I ended up slipping down into a bottom that is not often hunted and leaned against a tree. I saw six deer throughout the morning, and at around 9:15 this buck stepped out, and I took him at about 30 yards.
