Hunt Story
I was in a stand that we call the Port John. I had been there a little over an hour. Looking down another shooting lane and looked back to the main lane, and there he was about 80 yards away. I got my rifle up to shoot and shot one time and dropped him in his tracks. I sat there for about 30 minutes or so thinking that he may try to get up and move, but the deer never moved from that spot. I was actually thinking he was the big 8 that we had on camera, but as I got to him I realized he was a big 10. This late in the season I am very thankful for a buck of this size and getting a good lung/heart shot and dropping him in his tracks.
