Hunt Story
I put out some 465 minerals and a trail cam in this spot, and before bow season I started getting pictures of this deer. We put up a ground blind and hunted it fairly regular. It never failed, if I heard deer run off while I was approaching the blind, my cam would show that it was him. Many times. This particular morning, I parked in a different area and walked quite a ways further hoping he would think maybe the hunter was in a different area. I guess it worked! I has a doe come in and not a minute later this guy steps out into the opening. His hocks were soot black and he stunk to high heaven. I think the rut might be just a tad jacked up this year!
