Hunt Story
We've been watching this deer called Tight Ten for two years. We didn't want to hunt him last year because he was only 4 1/2. (I would have shot him then, too!) My Uncle Mike even found his sheds last year and he scored 157. My Dad and Uncle Mike hung this stand a couple of weeks ago just for him and another we call Great 8. I had my bow and my rifle. I turned around and saw him and didn't even think about my bow. I shot him at 85 yards. I had to wait for Dad to get me before I got down, and he saw him laying 50 yards from where I shot him before we even found any blood. This was the #1 deer we were after on the whole farm. I guess we'll go after number #2 now!
