Hunt Story
I had a trail camera in the area and had pictures of this buck coming in to feed several days in the afternoon. I kept waiting day after day to get the right wind to hunt that stand and finally this Sunday afternoon wind was coming out of the north which is the wind I had been waiting on. I had been in the stand about an hour and a couple does come threw and they got spooked and left. Shortly after I seen the buck in the field walking toward me. He started running my direction, I tried to stop him when he got about 20 yards from me but he stopped under my stand. I waited at full draw for him to finally come out from under me far enough for me to shoot. When he did I shot at a very hard angle down. I gave the deer about 3 hours before recovery. He made it about 50 yards.
