Bass: Excellent. Tournament angler Aaron Batson reports, “Good baits are 1/4-oz. chartreuse spinnerbaits and 1/4-oz. Rat-L-Traps. Work seawalls and rocky banks. There are some bass spawning now, and they can be caught on Texas-rigged junebug lizards and Senkos. Later in the month, look for the shad spawn to begin and work the seawalls and rip-rap with Pop-Rs, Chug Bugs, Sammys or flukes.”
