GON’s Youth Big-Buck Shoot-Out will round off an action-packed first day of the Outdoor Blast on Friday, July 28. Metro Atlanta’s only deer hunting show will once again be hosted at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth July 28-30.

Each week of deer season, the youth who enters the highest-scoring buck wins a weekly prize and earns a spots in the Youth Shoot-Out. The 15 youth who qualified for the Friday evening Shoot-Out have already won a great prize: a Browning Strike Force HD Elite trail camera. The camera has a 100-foot flash range, a 55-foot detection range and retails for $150.

In addition to a great trail camera, one of the 15 shooters will win the grand-prize $3,000 shopping spree at Adventure Outdoors in Smyrna. Plus, our winning youth will get to spend a weekend deer and hog hunting with the great folks at Woods-N-Water outfitters this coming hunting season.

Griffin Gravitt, 15 at the time, of Ashburn, won last year’s youth Shoot-Out and was enjoying his shopping spree less than 24 hours after winning the event. Griffin got a new Browning A5 12-gauge shotgun, a Yeti Roadie cooler, Costa sunglasses and two boxes of bullets. He still had money in his pocket when he left but wanted to return later for a gun safe.

Come watch the GON Youth Shoot-Out on Friday, July 28 at 6 p.m.
