Patrick Brown is a former Final-4 qualifier in the Eliminator Series. Now he’s a state champ through the GBCF’s Top-Six tournament.

Lake Eufaula hosted this year’s Georgia Bass Chapter Federation’s Top-Six April 26-27. The tournament falls under FLW’s The Bass Federation (TBF) umbrella. This year’s tournament had 52 teams, and 312 anglers competed. Patrick Brown, of Swainsboro, had the best individual weight with 38.20 pounds.

Patrick, along with the other top-12 finishers, heads back to Lake Eufaula in early June for the TBF Southern Divisional tournament. Georgia’s top 12 will face other top anglers from Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee and Kentucky. The top-two-placing Georgians move on to the TBF Nationals in 2011.

The Gordon County BMs won the team championship with 155.39 pounds. Team members include (from left) Josh West, Allen Helbert, Kacee Black, Dale Bruce, Craig Scoggins and John Pettit. They won $1,000.
