Lake Sinclair Fishing Report – October 2017

GON Staff | September 28, 2017

Sinclair: Level: 1.2 feet low. Temp: Upper 70s. Clarity: Very clear.

Bass: Tournament angler Mark Denney Jr. reports that he fished Saturday, and the fishing was tough. There was a topwater bite first thing in the morning, and after that, he was forced to fish docks with shaky heads, Texas rigs and jigs. Fishing is going to improve as the water temps comes down. Look for a good seawall and grass bite to begin. Early, fish poppers and buzzbaits. After that, crankbaits and Carolina rigs will work. The dock bite will continue but only strengthen through the month.
