Lake Seminole Fishing Report September 2015

GON Staff | August 26, 2015

Seminole: Level: 0.7 feet low. Temp: Upper 80s. Clarity: Some stain.

Bass: Guide Aaron Crews reports, “Schooling baitfish is occurring on the lake. Bass, stripers, hybrids and white bass are feeding on them. The big Nichols spoons, Super Flukes, Shad Raps and a red-head, white-body Rooster Tail will work on them. Also, a shallow-running, shad-pattern crankbait will work.”

Bream:
Aaron reports, “Mayfly hatches continue for now, so fly rod fishermen can still enjoy their sport, if they do it early in the a.m. or late in the evening. Catfishing is best at night and early in the morning with cut bait and worms.”
