Lake Nottely Fishing Report February 2018

GON Staff | January 31, 2018

Nottely: Level: 14.1 feet low. Temp: 38-43 degrees. Clarity: Creeks are stained, and the main lake is clear.

Stripers: Guide Jeremy Seabolt reports, “We have been catching most of our fish on downlines. The fish have been holding on the bottom in 30 to 60 feet of water. The fish are starting to show up in the creeks. Start off at daybreak pulling big herring or shad up toward the bank. The fish have been laying up on long points. Going in to February, if the cold will hold off, we should see the stripes come alive. The fish should be moving up shallow and feeding good by mid February. February is a good month to work points with bucktails and Red Fins.”
