Lake Nottely Fishing Report December 2017

GON Staff | November 28, 2017

Nottely: Level: 12.6 feet low. Temp: 58-64 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Hybrids: Guide Jeremy Seabolt reports, “The stripers are getting in the creeks and are eating everything in their path. We have been catching most of our fish mid morning halfway back in the creeks by pulling large trout and jumbo herring. We have been catching our fish pulling boards out in the deeper parts of the creek channel. On up in the day when it warms up, we been catching a lot of small fish on herring downlined on points. Going into December, we will be fishing the creeks and river pulling freelines and boards with a spread of shad, trout and herring. December is a month to work rocky, clay banks with a jerkbait and a bucktail, and we start seeing a lot of good fish showing up. Drag out the long handles, dress warm and stay safe.”
