Lake Nottely Fishing Report April 2018

GON Staff | March 28, 2018

Nottely: Level: 10.3 feet low. Temp: 51 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Linesides: Guide Jeremy Seabolt reports, “We have been catching fish about every way you can. Freelines have been catching the most fish first thing in the morning, and then downlines and u-rigs have been the key to catching fish mid morning. We’re pulling them 70 to 100 feet behind the boat. The fish are holding on deep-water humps. Fish downlines 30 to 40 feet deep. Going into April, I’m hoping the fish will move up shallow. If so, the big-bait bite will get going. April is also a good month to be throwing Red Fins and bucktails. Fish should be doing the river run.”
