Lake Hartwell Fishing Report February 2017

GON Staff | February 1, 2017

Hartwell: Level: 9.6 feet below full pool. Temp: Low 50s. Clarity: Clear with a slight stain in the rivers and creeks.

Bass: Tournament angler Kerry Partain reports that fishing around main-lake rock produces a good bite in February. When fishing rock, he likes Lucky Craft and Rapala jerkbaits and a 3/4-oz. football jig in green pumpkin or peanut better and jelly colors. He’ll also work these baits around main-lake points and pockets. If you can find some ditches, fish a Bladerunner.
