Eufaula: Level: 1.6 feet below 190 pool. Temp: High 70s. Clarity: Light stain.

Bass: Tournament angler Les Bratcher reports, “The fishing here on Eufaula has been slow. The bass are scattered from deep to shallow. The tournament weights have been a little off this month. However, the fall is fast approaching with cooler temperatures, and the bass will make their fall push. The best bet will be go to the hydrilla, to the backs of the creeks or to anywhere you can find shad. The shad will make a move to the shallows. Topwater baits, ChatterBaits, swimbaits and plastics will be good bets for fall bass fishing success on Lake Eufaula.”
