Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report – September 2017

GON Staff | August 30, 2017

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 0.8 feet below full pool. Temp: 82 degrees. Clarity: Creeks have a good stain; river is clear.

Bass: Tournament director Dennis Hudson reports, “You can occasionally catch some in the mornings and evenings, but during the day it is almost impossible. You might catch some small bass with shaky heads on the points. We’re starting to catch a few on square-bill crankbaits in the mouths of pockets, but it’s real hit-and-miss right now. I’ve been told that they are starting to spray the hydrilla, and that always knocks things back. I can see where some of the hydrilla is starting to die.”
