Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report – November 2006

GON Staff | October 24, 2006

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 1.2 feet below full pool. Temp: 68-72 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Great. Fish are moving toward the backs of the pockets, and David Lowery said spinnerbaits, shallow-running crankbaits, buzzbaits and Trick Worms fished around wood are a dynamite way to catch bass this month. Key on brushpiles, stumps and dock posts on the lower part of the lake. “They’ll just be looking for something to hide in,” said David. When the water temperature hits 55 degrees, back out and use a jigging spoon in the 12- to 25-foot range to catch bass and linesides.
