Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report March 2016

GON Staff | February 24, 2016

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 0.7 feet below full pool. Temp: 47 degrees. Clarity: Moderate stain.

Bass: Tournament promoter Dennis Hudson reports, “During the prespawn in March, shallow crankbaits just inside the pockets are your best bet. Fish them around any wood or laydowns you see. Secondary points are good, too, and the more wind-blown the better. The seawalls in the backs of these pockets will be good, too. Soft plastics like Senkos and Texas-rigged lizards will work great in these pockets as the month goes on.”
