Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report June 2018

GON Staff | May 31, 2018

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 1.3 feet below full pool. Temp: 72-76 degrees. Clarity: Stained in the shallow areas.

Bass: Tournament director Dennis Hudson reports, “The bulk of the bass are being caught shallow right now, and quite a few are being caught on topwater. You’re still getting some by skipping boat docks with Trick Worms and stuff like that. The better fish will be caught working bream bed areas in the little pockets off the sloughs. It should start transitioning into some late afternoon and early morning bites up the river on the frogs and topwater. There’s always the shaky-head bite on the points, where you can catch a few bass here and there this time of year.”
