Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report April 2016

GON Staff | March 30, 2016

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 0.3 feet below full pool. Temp: Upper 60s. Clarity: Light stain.

Bass: Tournament director Dennis Hudson reports, “We’ve had a real fast lake warm-up, and we had bass already spawning in the end of March. There should be another wave on the full moon in April. You can’t go wrong throwing soft plastics like a frog. Drag a frog or worm along the banks in these creeks and pockets, and you’ll catch bass. There are a lot of bass around the edges of the grass in the pockets and around the laydowns and trashpiles. You’ll catch a lot of the buck bass that are protecting fry in those areas, too.”
